Programme Structure
The online Master of Educational Leadership (MEdLd) is for those who want to further develop their knowledge and understanding of the complex roles of leadership in education.
This programme has a specific focus on addressing problems of practice to enable improvement in the educational outcomes for a diverse range of students/young people. During this degree, you will learn to identify problems of practice and challenge current inequities in education through a range of courses addressing educational leadership and practice, educational change, Māori and indigenous approaches to educational leadership, equity and collaborative practices, mentoring other leaders and educators and New Zealand educational policy.
The online MEdLd programme consists of 6 courses that total 180 points. Each course runs for 12 weeks, allowing you to study one course at a time and still complete the programme in two years.
