A minimum 4-year Engineering degree at a recognised institution, with a minimum GPA of 5.0.

Programme Structure

The Master of Engineering Management is a 120-point programme consisting of 6 or 7 courses and, can be completed in as little as 2 years part-time.

Please note that the University of Auckland Online courses are scheduled on rotation, and not all elective options will be available each semester. Where there are elective options, we will enquire with you on your preferred course selections prior to proceeding with your course enrolments.

Option One – Research Project:

Core: ENGGEN 736 (15 points)

Research Project: ENGGEN 794 (30 points)*

30-points from engineering electives:
• ENGGEN 730, 736, 737, 738, 742

30-points from business electives:
• BUSDEV 724
• BUSMAN 701, 702, 704, 705
*Research topic requires approval by Head of Department

Option Two – Capstone Project:

Core: ENGGEN 784 (30 points)

15-points from:
•  ENGGEN 737, 738

30-points from engineering electives:
• ENGGEN 730, 736, 737, 738, 742

30-points from business electives:
• BUSDEV 724
• BUSMAN 701, 702, 704, 705
